Reliable Rail Clamps for Temporary and Stationary Connections
This type of rail clamp is used for temporary or stationary connection of cables to the rail. It can also be used as a temporary connection between two tracks during rail replacement or maintenance work, for example when PinBrazing is performed on the track.
Safetrack's SafeGrip™ rail clamps function both as rail contact clamps and temporary rail bonds, and can also be used as a Track Circuit Operating Device (T-COD). Network Rail approved.
The design and material selection ensure a vibration-proof connection with optimal contact between cable and rail, without any need for maintenance. A specially developed spring steel provides high contact pressure via a contact screw with a large contact surface against the rail.
The rail clamps are easily installed using standard tools. For added security, models are available with a locking mechanism that requires a dedicated key.
